At Proper Beverages, we strive to offer flexibility and satisfaction to our customers. This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your coffee subscriptions or one-time purchases, as well as your rights under UK law. Please read this policy carefully.
1. Subscription Cancellation
1.1 How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel your Proper Beverages coffee subscription at any time through your online account.
- Online Account Cancellation: Simply log in to your account, navigate to the "Subscription" section, and select the option to cancel.
- Contact Cancellation: If you need assistance, email us at contact@properbeverages.co.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
1.2 Cancellation Deadline
To avoid being charged for your next subscription cycle, cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before your next billing date. If your cancellation request is made after this deadline, the cancellation will take effect for the following billing cycle.
1.3 Refunds for Subscription Cancellation
We do not offer refunds for any prepaid subscription periods. Once a billing cycle has begun, the subscription will continue until the end of that cycle, after which no further payments will be taken, and no further products will be delivered.
2. One-Time Purchase Cancellation
2.1 Cancellation Before Dispatch
If you have made a one-time purchase and wish to cancel your order, you may do so before the order has been dispatched. Please contact us as soon as possible at contact@properbeverages.co.uk with your order number, and we will assist you in cancelling the order.
- If the order has not been dispatched, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
2.2 Cancellation After Dispatch
If your order has already been dispatched, you will not be able to cancel the purchase. However, you may be eligible for a return or refund in accordance with our [Return and Refund Policy].
3. Your Right to Cancel Under UK Law (Consumer Contracts Regulations)
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your contract for the purchase of goods or services from Proper Beverages within 14 days of receiving your goods without giving any reason.
3.1 How to Exercise Your Right to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel under UK law:
- Contact us within 14 days of receiving your goods by emailing contact@properbeverages.co.uk, including your order number and a clear statement that you wish to cancel the contract.
- We will provide instructions on how to return the goods. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods unless they are faulty or incorrect.
3.2 Exclusions
Please note that the right to cancel does not apply to:
- Perishable goods, such as coffee beans or grounds, if the packaging has been opened or tampered with after delivery.
- Goods that are personalised or made-to-order.
3.3 Refunds for Cancellations
Once we receive the returned goods in their original condition, we will process a refund within 14 days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method. If goods are damaged or not in a resalable condition, deductions may be made from the refund to reflect this.
4. Modifying Your Subscription or Purchase
4.1 Changing Your Subscription
If you wish to change the frequency, quantity, or type of coffee in your subscription, you can do so through your online account. Changes must be made at least 48 hours before your next scheduled billing date to take effect for the upcoming delivery cycle.
4.2 Changing a One-Time Purchase
If you need to modify an order before it is dispatched, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. Once the order has been processed or dispatched, changes cannot be made.
