At Proper Beverages, we are committed to providing our customers with high-quality coffee products and excellent service. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer the following return and refund policy.

1. Return Eligibility

1.1 Perishable Goods (Coffee Products):
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns for perishable goods, including coffee beans, grounds, or any food-related items, unless the product is faulty or damaged upon arrival.

1.2 Non-Perishable Goods:
For non-perishable items, such as brewing equipment or accessories, you have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return, provided the item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

1.3 Faulty or Damaged Products:
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, you may request a return or refund within 14 days of receipt. Proof of damage or defect (e.g., photos) may be required.

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Refunds for Perishable Goods:
Refunds for coffee products will only be issued if the product is faulty, damaged, or if an error was made on our part. Refunds will not be issued due to a change of mind or personal taste preferences.

2.2 Refunds for Non-Perishable Goods:
For eligible returns of non-perishable items, we will issue a full refund once the item is received and inspected. The refund will be processed within 7-10 working days after we receive the returned item.

2.3 Shipping Costs:

  • If the return is due to a defect, damage, or our error, we will cover the return shipping costs.
  • If the return is for other reasons (e.g., change of mind), the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or the wrong product was sent.

3. How to Return a Product

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team at contact@properbeverages.co.uk with your order number, the reason for your return, and any supporting evidence (if applicable, such as photos of damaged goods).
  2. Our team will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your return. We recommend using a tracked service to ensure the safe arrival of your returned goods.
  3. Once we receive your return, we will inspect it and process your refund or exchange accordingly.

4. Exceptions

4.1 Custom Orders:
Custom orders or personalised products cannot be returned or refunded unless they are faulty or damaged upon arrival.

4.2 Sale Items:
Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale or clearance items are not eligible for a refund unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

5. Cancelling an Order

You have the right to cancel your order for non-perishable items within 14 days of receiving them. To cancel your order, please contact our customer service team at contact@properbeverages.co.uk. If the order has already been shipped, you will need to return the goods before a refund can be issued.
